The story I chose to represent with the Kurt Vonnegut story shape is the song ‘Lola’ by The Kinks.
The lyrics to this song describe an interaction at a bar between a man and a female. By the conclusion of the song, the man finds out that Lola, who he thought to be a woman, was actually a man. The song is not meant to be homophobic, but rather to describe a laughable drunken encounter at a bar. The song was ranked as the 422nd greatest song of all time.
One example of a digital story is the amazing survival story of Ross Capicchioni. I would recommend this video to everyone, as it is one of the most captivating stories I have ever heard. This is considered a digital story because it is digital media that tells a story.

That was a brilliant idea to to the story shape of a song, I do not think I have seen someone do that before! And unline TV show and hollywood movie plots, a lot of songs (blues, country) do not end above the line. This could become its own assignment…
Thanks for sharing the Ross Capicchioni story, I had not seen or heard of it. Maybe worth considering, is it strictly a digital story? It oculd be been delivered in analog (video) form. But the editing of it is (to me) clearly digital. but mroe than than, think about some of the elements used, the sound effects, music, the talking over of the scenes (and it seems like the city itself is a character). And what the digital allows is mre opporttunity to share, and potentially remix
